Hi! I'm Brandi. I'm married to my wonderful husband and best friend, Chris. We have a blended family with 7 children aged 3-23, and we have two GRANDSONS! I am a born-again believer and homeschool mama.

I’m thrilled to share my passion for nature and outdoor education with you and your children. My journey as a homeschooling mama began in 2005, and having a little one again has reignited my love for learning alongside teaching little ones about nature and God's marvelous creation.

I am a bit of a nature nerd, always eager to discover new facts about the wonders of creation and the intricate ways God has ordered and made them. My homeschooling journey spans nearly two decades, with three graduates, a high schooler, and a preschooler currently under my wing. This rich experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners.

As a child, I loved having outdoor adventures! Playing outside all day and staying out until the streetlights came on, we explored, imagined, and created lasting memories. That passion was revived when I was introduced to the Charlotte Mason philosophy and nature study, which fueled my passion for outdoor education. I love spending time outdoors and believe it is vital to a healthy and thriving childhood.

As a Christian, I teach from a Christian worldview, drawing inspiration from Charlotte Mason, delight-directed learning, and the Wild & Free philosophy. Our nature club incorporates a different nature theme each week, paired with ample free playtime for exploration. I firmly believe that nature-based education benefits both the child and their parents, fostering a shared love for learning and discovery.

My primary goal with Little Explorers Nature Club is to cultivate a love of learning, provide opportunities for safe yet adventurous play, and encourage exploration of God’s beautiful creation. We aim to create a community among families, foster a lifelong love of learning, and give glory to the Lord in all we do. I want this to be as much fun for you as it is for your child!

I have done the work for you! I love planning, researching, and pulling together activities from different resources. Each week, I will provide a themed storytime, activities for you and your child/children to work on together, and plenty of time and space for free exploration. You will also be given a list of enrichment ideas to continue with at home if you choose to do so.

The Little Explorers Nature Club stands out for its Christian foundation, integrating faith into our exploration of nature. We provide a unique blend of structured learning and free play, all within a community of like-minded families.
