Hi, I’m Brandi. I’m so glad you found us!
I’ve been homeschooling since 2005. Over the years, I’ve graduated three children, am walking alongside one senior, and am now teaching my kindergartener at home. My husband and I have a blended family of seven children, and we are now grandparents to three sweet little boys.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe learning begins with wonder and that God’s creation is one of the richest classrooms we could ever step into. Whether we’re gathered around the kitchen table or exploring a forest trail, I want children to grow in curiosity, character, and confidence.
My homeschool style blends Charlotte Mason, unit studies, and a touch of unschooling freedom. I love living books, meaningful conversations, hands-on discovery, and crafts. I lead from my strengths while honoring each child’s unique design and individual needs. I especially love seeing children explore and light up when they’re excited about what they are discovering and learning.
Homeschooling is a marathon, not a sprint. I believe in taking the long view - shaping hearts and minds over time rather than racing toward checklists. Spreading a feast of ideas to help foster a love for learning. Through Little Explorers Nature Club, my goal is to encourage families to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the journey.

Hello! I’m Nicole- I am a Scranton, PA native, and my husband is in the Air Force. The military has brought us to many places around the world; including Maryland, about three years ago. You’ll often see me and my son, Maverick, we’ve been a part of Little Explorers for a while and truly love this community. As a Registered Nurse turned stay-at-home mom, I have a deep passion for nurturing growth and curiosity. We are happiest when we’re outdoors, discovering God’s creation in every tiny insect and towering tree. My goal is to make every mom and child feel at home here. I’m so excited to help lead our adventures this summer and can’t wait to explore with your family!
Madison is a homeschooling mom of two who loves spending time outdoors with her girls, exploring and admiring all of God’s creation. Whether it’s nature walks, discovering bugs and flowers, or simply enjoying fresh air together, she values creating meaningful childhood memories through nature and community. She hopes to be a welcoming leader and a friendly presence for both you and your children!
